Everyone has favorite types of sessions. I can be shooting anything and call it my favorite. Because it is not the type of session I am at, or the people (although people are a bonus) and it is not the light, (although light can make or break the portrait) it boils down to the love they show me. My favorite sessions are ones where the people show how much love they have and how much love they give. It is not an easy feat to show a camera how you feel and allow for the photographer to capture that. If every client lived in that moment. Not worry about their hair, makeup, dress, and just were. Now those are my favorite sessions.
This mom and me session the mommy was able to do just that. It took only a glimpse and I was able to capture those seconds of true love and create with her some magical portraits of her and her son.
