Grow With Us Session Package Maternity Session located in a park near Anaheim and Corona by Traveling Family and Newborn Photographer

There are sessions in my career that stand out.  They are sessions where I have already connected to my client, they feel like friends.  Those friends also spend time putting their clothing together and spent time trying to develop and communicate the look and feel they are desiring.  This momma as we were walking into the park said, "I am a sucker for light in my photos.  I like to be well lit."  So, despite loving a darker, moodier edit myself I told her I would try my best.

There were two considerations that I then needed to consider.  All the white they were wearing.  So, a tip to other photographers in how I achieved this look.  I still shot underexposed by just a hair.  This maintained the details in white and still allowed me to shoot shoot almost wide open.  I looked for pockets of light in the park.

I like to move from different locations of the park often.  This keeps the little one engaged and interested.  I brought more than I needed and have realized I need a wagon in a bad way.

Here are some of the gorgeous images.  The family invested in all of these!  I can't wait to walk down their hall someday.

Here are some of my very favorites of the bunch...

In this edit I manipulated the scene in photoshop to create this more fall edit.  Although it was technically fall, sunny Southern California always seems to be a month behind...

Love the look on his face!  He and I are playing, creating the connection to camera.  That poor crate broke after this shot- no worries he was not hurt.

I asked to take off his shirt.  I wanted his beautiful skin to be near mom.  Dad lifted him to her and he settled on top of her baby bump.  And he connected.  Gorgeous.

No words- just a gorgeous, stunning family portrait.

And the light started to change as we walked out of the park.  And I said wait just one more second.  And here we captured these....

The golden light through her hair.  The lake in the background and those sweet grasses beaming like stars.  My favorite image of the session.

And then I said to her, "tell your husband you love him." And she did, and then smiled this real, unguarded smile and she shined in her radiance and they giggled.  Forever captured, the smile she gives just to him.

I want to take just a second and thank the family for their blessings in sharing their images.  It means so much to me to be able to add some family imagery onto my website.  Thank you!

Thank you- for stopping by.  Please leave a comment let them know you love their images, or tell me your favorite or ask for a SOOC.  But please just hit the heart!
