In an effort to show our police force support and encouragement a fellow photographer from Studio802 started giving away mini family sessions to LEOs in her community. The response was amazing and soon it looks as if the whole state wants to be involved. That is inspirational! That is what we need!
I have been appalled by what is coming down my newsfeed. I have become scared. But I will not allow fear and hate to take over my life. We need to stand up for all people. We need to learn to love and connect again.
Our Law Enforcement Officers are risking their lives. Everyday they go to work. Everyday their lives are endanger- now more than ever. I have a pull to do something to give back to burdens they and their families carry, the officers and their families. And seeing the work that Studio802 is doing has lit my fire to give.

The session location will not be announced- nor the dates. The Sessions will be local to me. They will be 20 min long with 5-10 images on disc. As officers I am assuming some will not want to have their image on the internet, so those who want a facebook preview will be asked to sign a model release form. I do not expect or require facebook previews, website imagery, or blogging permissions.
I hope that this act of kindness will inspire you too! I hope we can spread forgiveness, tolerance and and construction and stop spreading hate, fear and destruction...
This mini is no longer available. Although I am considering doing one every year during my none busy months, which are January and July. I am thinking I will do a fire person mini season in January (their most likely off season- because they work so hard for us in the summer) and then the L.E.O. mini in july...
